The new owner of the Werkspoorhal plans to build a padel sports center. This likely means that the hall will no longer be publicly accessible. This is different from what Stadgenoot, the municipality, VORM, and many residents had envisioned, and different from the promise of “The Heart of Oostenburg.” This evening for residents to discuss the plans is organized by Stichting Over de Brug, in collaboration with the PvdA.
