“Wijkwandelingen” is an initiative by a group of people who live or work in the Eastern Islands neighborhood.

We regularly go out to discover the neighborhood and talk with residents.
Neighborhoods are always changing. What’s an empty spot today might be a peaceful meeting place tomorrow.

That’s how we create walking routes.
Sometimes just through the area, other times with a theme—like greenery, spots for children, or places to walk dogs.

You can walk them on your own, whenever it suits you.
Or walk with us and meet others along the way.
