On Thursday evening, September 26, Talkshow #5 at the Buurtkamer will be dedicated to the history of slavery in Oostenburg. The Dutch East India Company once owned a shipyard in Oostenburg, where ships were built specifically for the slave trade. The program will include presentations, music, and film.
