Successful sessions at the Buurtkamer Over de Brug for women from the neighborhood

The first two information sessions for women from the Oostelijke Eilanden and the Kadijken recently took place at the Buurtkamer Over de Brug. This initiative turned out to be a big success right from the start. 

Marlou from the Buurtteam and Kyra from Mensen Maken Amsterdam (MMA) spoke about topics that really matter to women. They shared practical information and tips you can use in everyday life. The women who attended listened carefully, asked questions, and shared their own ideas. MMA immediately started working with those ideas. That didn’t just create inspiration but also a sense of working together. 

These sessions are for women from the neighborhood. You come together, share experiences, and get practical tips. No boring lectures, just things you can really use, for yourself, your family, or other women you know. 

Meaningful themes 

Each session has a different theme, so you get new insights every time. You meet other women and hear tips from experts or experienced professionals. You go home with knowledge and inspiration.
