Residents of Oostenburg Zuid have designed and put together a neighbourhood noticeboard, which now stands on the corner of Nieuwe Oostenburgerdwarsstraat and Nieuwe Oostenburgerstraat, near the former site office and next to ‘Het Groene Balkon’. It has been created to display all messages and announcements that everyone needs to know about, and marks a new phase of activities organised by and for residents. Working groups have now been set up for communication and for organising events in the neighbourhood, and the residents’ committee has been expanded with two new members. To celebrate the sign, the new working groups and residents’ committee, and this new era, there will be a neighbourhood party on 6 June. There will be games for the children and plenty of good food and drink. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday 6 June between 2 pm and 8 pm at the Groene Balkon, the garden managed by local residents which borders the Bandenboot on the Wittenburgervaart near the Ezelsbrug.
