Results of the 2026 resident survey

On Thursday evening, February 26, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., you are welcome to attend a new edition of the Oostenburg Talk Show, organized by Stichting Over de Brug. This evening will be entirely devoted to the results of the second major resident survey on Oostenburg Noord.

268 residents completed the survey and expressed their views on green spaces, public spaces, safety, social cohesion, and the use of the plinths. The results are clear: the neighborhood has potential, but there is work to be done. During this evening, we will explain the figures, discuss what has changed since last year, and, more importantly, what the next steps are.

Content of the evening

We will discuss the most important findings from the survey and how residents, the municipality, and project developers can work together to achieve concrete improvements. Topics will include:

The scores for greenery, public space, safety, and plinths, and what they mean for the livability of the neighborhood.
A look back: what has changed in the past year as a result of the first survey?
The next steps: which action points will we tackle together?

There will be plenty of opportunity for questions, comments, and ideas from the audience. After all, 61% of residents indicated that they are willing to help, and we want to harness that energy.
